Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer

30 Nov

For the past couple of weeks, I have been using the new Express Hydration Primer from Nivea, and  I love it! It does what it says on the box!

The product has a gel like consistency and is non-oily. It absorbs into the skin really quickly and leaves your skin moisturised, primed and ready for foundation application. My foundation still looked fresh by the end of the day , and my skin looked less oily.

The fact that the product has a light texture and is non-greasy makes it a good product for oily skin.

Availabe from here  on sale for £3.99 but is normally £4.99.

What I am Currently Using

25 Sep

This is the new GOSH BB cream, which is a foundation and primer in one. This is one of the best BB creams I’ve used so far. It gives light to medium coverage and has a creamy texture. It does a good job moisturising the skin and lasts really well throughout the day without making my skin oily. It is currently on sale at Superdrug for £5.99.

The Lash Millionaire from Miss Sporty – This mascara promises to add rich volume and breathtaking length to your lashes and perfect lash seperation. I have been using this for quite a while now and all I can say is that it is non clumpy and separates your lashes beautifully but for me, there wasn’t much length or volume, nevertheless, it darkens the lashes beautifully without clumps so I will continue using this from time to time. Priced £3.99

The Too Faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Perfect Black Orchid  – I love this eyeliner! It’s a very dark almost black violet shade. This eyeliner is one of my favourites because it is long lasting and very pigmented.

This is one of the new MUA lipliners, the above colour is called Brooding Plum, which is a dark plum red shade. this shade is perfect for the Autums/Winter. Its great to use on it’s own as a lip colour, as it is quite soft and very pigmented. These lipliners are available in Superdrug and come in about four shades priced £1.00 each. What a bargain!

This Week’s Favourites

This week, I have been getting re-acquainted with some of my favourite products. Brief description Clockwise from left:

Bobbi Brown Tinted Lip Balm in Citrus – This is a peachy-orange tinted balm which gives your lips a lovely subtle slightly shimmery colour and shine.

Benefit’s Benetint Lip and Cheek Stain – This gives a subtle deep pink colour to lips and cheeks.

Collection 2000 Shimmer Shades Blush in Blushalicious –  I realy love this blush, it gives cheeks a really nice subtle colour.

ELF Mineral Face Primer – A transparent primer which makes your skin feel smooth and poreless when applied. It makes the foundation application process easier and helps your foundation last longer.

Avon Colourtrend Kajal Stick in Black and Warm brown – This is a double ended eyeliner with black on one end and a dark brown on the other. I like this liner because it is very pigmented and lasts longer than other eyeliners I’ve used. I sometimes use the dark brown as a lipliner.

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick in Rose Bouquet P2 – This is like a lipstick and lipbalm in one. The lipstick has an outer transparent balm which gives shine and an inner core which gives colour. It’s very pigmented and gives a satin finish.

Revlon Colourstay 12 Hour Eyeshadow in Sable – A neutral brown satin shade which blends very well and does last long on the eyelids.

Avon Strawberry Sorbet Lip Balm – This clear lip balm is very moisturising, giving your lips a nice subtle shine. I use this before applying lipstick.

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation – This foundation applies like a dream! It gives skin a nice dewy finish and great coverage.

Modelsown lipgloss in Blackberry – This gloss gives your lips high shine and colour, and is also moisturising.

2TrueGlossywear Lipstick in shade 10 – This is a very wearable glossy deep berry shade.
