Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer

30 Nov

For the past couple of weeks, I have been using the new Express Hydration Primer from Nivea, and  I love it! It does what it says on the box!

The product has a gel like consistency and is non-oily. It absorbs into the skin really quickly and leaves your skin moisturised, primed and ready for foundation application. My foundation still looked fresh by the end of the day , and my skin looked less oily.

The fact that the product has a light texture and is non-greasy makes it a good product for oily skin.

Availabe from here  on sale for £3.99 but is normally £4.99.

My Current Skin Creams

31 Jul

Jergens naturals skin firming body moisturiser

This is a cream containing 96% natural ingredients and claims to firm the skin in just two uses. It contains pomegranate extract which is an anti-oxidant. Couldn’t see any difference to my skin after two uses but after using the cream for about two weeks, my skin did feel softer and smoother. Available at Boots or Superdrug priced £5.10

Nivea soft moisturising cream

I have been using this cream for quite some time now and I absolutely love it! It’s suitable for use on the face hands and body and it smells really good in my opinion. It contains jojoba oil and vitamin E and quickly absorbs into your skin, leaving it smooth and soft. Could be purchased from Boots Or Superdrug priced £2.45

Bio – Oil

I know. A lot has been said about this oil but I have only just started using it. As stated on the packaging, it can be used to treat a variety of skin conditions. I started using this oil because I wanted to get rid of some old acne scars and so far this has worked for me. My skin is clearer and brighter and the scars are less visible. I also often use this after having a shower and it makes your skin feel soft and smooth. Priced £19.99 for 200ml at boots or Superdrug.

Palmer’s cocoa butter formula fragrance free

This has been a favourite in my skincare regime for quite a while now, especially during the cold winter months, as this is in my opinion a heavy duty skin cream that works very well on dry skin. I especially love using this on my feet as it keeps them soft and smooth. I prefer using the fragrance free formula because it won’t clash with other fragrances or perfume I might be using. Priced £3.79 from Superdrug or Boots.

Avon care renewing moisture hand cream

This is one of the best hand creams I have ever used! This cream absorbs easily into your hands and is non-greasy. A small amount goes a long way to keep you hands moisturised for a long period of time. In the photo above, the tube is almost empty and I will be ordering more soon! Available from avonshop.com priced £3.50 currently on sale for £1.75  here.
